In the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Portugal – Holiday Autos will continue to receive bookings until 31 August 2013 for departures until the 31 October 2013. Holiday Autos has said it will continue to provide ongoing customer support services for existing bookings. In Germany and Austria – Holiday Autos will continue to receive bookings until 30 September 2013 for departures until the 31 October 2013. Customers that wish to cancel a booking departing after 31 October 2013 will not be charged a cancellation fees and will receive a full refund for car rental costs. Holiday Autos was sold for an undisclosed amount. Travelocity Global has sold its Holiday Autos brand and withdrawn from the global trade sector. The Directs and White Label division of Holiday Autos was sold to Dublin-based car rental solutions provider, CarTrawler, while Travelocity Global maintained its Trade division. A review process is currently examining the appropriate steps to be taken in regards to bookings which depart after these dates. Australian and Middle East customers able to receive refunds. In Australia and the Middle East – Holiday Autos stopped taking bookings on 9 July 2013 and is currently in the process of informing all partners and suppliers regarding this decision.
